The new one-touch garage door opener is nothing groundbreaking but was greatly appreciated by several owners on social media. Once a location is set for a garage, a prompt on the driver’s display shows when approaching or leaving the garage, with a simple thumb control button on the steering wheel controlling the opening/closing of the door. Multiple garages can be paired with the system.
For the navigation system, Rivian has made it simpler to plan trips and get on the road. Customers can now see the drive times for searched destinations, charging stops now appear with pins (also displaying the charging time at a certain station), and the system informs you of how much charging is needed at that stop.
