Rumor: Dodge Charger SRT Daytona EV Will Have Combustion-Powered Sibling

Unlike a fake exhaust noise, which pipes a synthetic sound into the cabin, Dodge’s solution amplifies the electric motors’ natural sound and channels it through a dedicated chamber. It’s an interesting concept, but we wonder if it will win over V8-loving traditionalists.

Regarding styling, the Daytona variant will distinguish itself with an R-Wing. This is a nod to past models and directs airflow into the front intake, improving downforce. Supporting the abovementioned claim that it will arrive in 2024, the insiders claim the Charger and Charger Daytona will come in Q3 2024. Interestingly, the Challenger variant is expected to touch down before its four-door cousin.

Of course, this is all speculation until Dodge confirms these details. However, it all sounds possible, and we look forward to seeing the Charger and Charger Daytona in production form when they arrive in the coming months.
