The builder did a full rebuild, including installing a new chassis from JW Rod Garage. The bright paintwork is Marina Blue paint, Eli’s favorite color on a Chevrolet Corvette. It is contrasted by gray accents on different areas of the exterior, such as the headlight surrounds, bumper, and rear quarter panels.
Giving the truck its modern appeal is the set of Raceline Cheyenne wheels – a huge departure from the staple smoothie wheels. These are wrapped in 265/75R19 Toyo tires at the front and 315/35R20 at the back. The builder also installed Wilwood brakes and a three-inch Magnaflow exhaust, giving the engine sound more flair.
Speaking of the engine, a 7.4-liter LSX 454 V8 powers the Apache, claimed to make 480 horsepower on the dyno. A six-speed Tremec manual gearbox sends power to the rear wheels via a Ford nine-inch rear end.
