The West Coast Customs we grew up watching through MTV’s Pimp My Ride is now working on electric vehicles (EVs). If that’s not enough to make you feel old, shop CEO Ryan Friedlinghaus’s son Ryan Jr. now drives a car, which also happens to be an EV in the form of a Tesla Model 3.
Of course, the EV needs some sprucing up suited to the shop’s renown. The objective of the build was to create a more aggressive stance by adding widebody kits. In the initial sketch created by West Coast Customs designer Musa Tjahjono, Ryan Jr. believed it didn’t look wide enough. No time was wasted, and the team set out to bring the vision to life.
