Tesla's Supercharger Takeover Extends Beyond The US

In mainland China, Tesla has over 1,800 Supercharger stations with 11,000 Supercharger stalls. Moreover, the EV maker has also built over 700 destination charging stations with over 2,000 chargers distributed in hotels, resorts, and shopping malls. Buick offers the Electra E4, Electra E5, and Velite 6 to Chinese car buyers. Meanwhile, Cadillac has the Lyriq midsize luxury crossover. All the models above (except for the Velite 6) use GM’s Ultium EV architecture, the same platform seen in the Chevrolet Blazer EV and Chevrolet Silverado EV.
