This Supercharged Mazda RX-8 Is A Reliable Sleeper

This creation from Forced Induction Pros may look like a regular Mazda RX-8, but it hides an American secret. The Japanese sports car has ditched its high-revving rotary engine and now gets an LS3 paired with a supercharger from a Cadilac CTS-V.

The RX-8’s exterior remains largely stock, except for the hood, which needs modification to fit the larger LS motor. It means the RX-8 has a gaping hole in the hood that gives you a clear view of the engine. Aside from this, it also gets an all-Brian Tooley Racing valvetrain, new fuel injectors from Fuel Injector Development, a Hughes Performance torque converter for its 4L80E, and an HD2 shift kit integrated with the OEM shifter.
